Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.  

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Systems Entitlement & Provisioning Specialist  - Contractor who is a detail-oriented person to support our transition to Cortex Cloud. This role will ensure that customer entitlements are accurately processed and tenant provisioning is completed seamlessly, and will act as a bridge between raw data and system execution, ensuring each customer environment is set up according to our defined business logic.

• Duration -  3 months

Your Impact

• Data Validation: Audit and validate specific data points across multiple internal systems to ensure data consistency before tenant provisioning.
• Provisioning Execution: Manage the end-to-end provisioning of tenants for customers within the Cortex Cloud environment.
• Logic Compliance: Confirm that all entitlements align with established business rules and contract parameters.
• Workflow Management: Complete technical tickets and internal forms with high accuracy to document the successful completion of provisioning tasks.
• Escalation Support: Identify discrepancies or blockers; work collaboratively with the core team to provide context, document issues, and define clear paths to resolution.

Your Experience

• 2+ years of experience in data coordination, systems administration, or technical support roles.
• Detail-Oriented: High level of precision when working with data entry and system cross-referencing.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand and apply complex business logic to various customer scenarios.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for providing clear context during escalations.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM/Ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow bots) and other SaaS solutions.
• Reliability: Ability to manage a steady but high volume of tasks within a fixed project timeline.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.  For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $28/hour to $32/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits.  Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
