Role Description
This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Global Intelligence Lead to work on the Global Security &
Resilience team, taking an active role in primary support of our protective intelligence program
while contributing across global and strategic intelligence initiatives. This position will report to
the Sr. Manager of Global Intelligence Programs and is a great opportunity for a talented
individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international
environment.

This position calls for someone withs a strong protective intelligence and strategic
analysis background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter,
flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced,
team-oriented, collaborative environment.
● Active Protective Intelligence Support: Take a primary, active role in supporting the
protective intelligence program, leading threat assessments for executive travel, board
meetings, and high-profile corporate events to directly inform physical security protocols.
● Strategic Risk Analysis & Horizon Scanning: Produce strategic intelligence
assessments covering geopolitical risks, macro-level regional dynamics, and emerging
threats to inform enterprise risk management and corporate decision-making.
● Operational Enablement & Workshops: Develop and deliver hands-on training
workshops for GSOC and RSOC analysts, elevating tradecraft, OSINT collection, and
report-writing capabilities.
● Targeted OSINT Investigations: Perform targeted OSINT investigations and provide ad-hoc threat support for rapid-response physical security
needs.
● Tradecraft & Program Methodology: Drive continuous improvement in analytical
methodologies, intelligence feeds, and structured analytical techniques (e.g., ACH,
Scenario Planning) to mature overall team capabilities.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with key business
partners—including Travel, Crisis Communications, Legal, and Worldwide
Operations—to deliver timely intelligence and align risk mitigation strategies.
● Executive Stakeholder Briefings: Deliver clear, concise intelligence briefings to
business leaders and security leadership, translating complex risk metrics into
actionable insight.
Your Experience
● 3–5+ years of dedicated intelligence analysis experience in corporate security, tech,
government, or a related sector.
● Protective Intelligence Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting protective
intelligence programs, executive threat assessments, travel risk, and physical threat
monitoring.
● Strategic & Geopolitical Acumen: Proven capability to analyze macro-level
geopolitical dynamics and assess potential impacts on global business operations.
● OSINT & Structured Tradecraft: Advanced proficiency with open-source intelligence
tools and formal analytical techniques (e.g., ACH, Scenario Planning).
● Communication & Facilitation: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with
experience briefing leadership and delivering training/workshops.
● Self-Motivated Execution: Proven ability to work independently out of HQ, manage
multiple project deliverables simultaneously, and maintain composure in ambiguous
situations.
